cafe stop lock ( bike is insured if it gets pinched is it is locked up )
windproof /armwarmers if the weather might be iffy

For a sportive or solo ride i would add another inner tube and some gels / energy bars and another water bottle

I also carry a pair of latex gloves. Takes up next to no room and if I have a mechanical, pop them on, fix the bike and I can have clean hands for the rest of the ride.

On my Los Las trip I passed through a few areas where there was no mobile reception but where there were Phone boxes. I appreciate that wallets can contain coins.

The latex gloves is an excellent idea and I wish I'd thought of it before.
