Some years ago my boss at the the time and I spent a very long time working on a senior buyer of a large multinational company. Very straight up guy in his 60s, and we ended up winning a few millions £ worth of business. We'd entertained him a good few times, and were due to do so again.... when he suddenly invited us to his house for pre-dinner drinks and to meet his wife.

He'd never let on that his hobby was wood-carving until then.
He had a massive coffee table that was cut as a single piece from the "head" of a pollarded oak ...probably the most stunningly beautiful piece of furniture I have ever seen .. and one or two other pieces....

One of which was a carving of a couple (evidently representing his wife and himself a few decades previously).
Let's just say - the carving had them doing what Monica Lewinsky did for Bill.
