Awesome move by Styby.

a great race all round, with plenty of lead swapping and surprises, expect the unexpected, and fine to see the cobbles outside of springtime too.

Just read a Stybar interview. He was told 1km from the end on team radio that he had 30 seconds lead, but he heard 13s, so absolutely buried himself in the last km to try to protect the 8 seconds he needed for GC.

Wow - he's going to be good value in the cobbled classics next year for sure.

Agree - the more Pave, the better. Although many don't, I like the Eneco tour [it's Belgian (ish)...what's not to like] and this year was decent!

Agree, although I didn't watch it much... the few highlights I saw: the TT, the "mini Fleche Wallonne" (Saturday) and the "mini Tour de Flanders" (Sunday) seemed like some interestingly chosen stages

Seeing em race in Geraardsbergen just makes you realise what a travesty it is cutting it from RVV.

I agree, although it's questionable if Stannard would have stayed away on his own. Did you see Styby's little bunny hop on to the kerb?

Some good skills from Stannard too. Nice line through one of the descent's where Stybar had to work hard to get back on.
