I had a HTC Legend, but have just got an upgrade Samsung Galaxy Ace. I put my SIM into the new phone, but the apps are all still working fine on the HTC.
So I can now use that just for the Endo & not have to worry about the battery going flat & being stranded miles from home with no phone

Just used endomondo for the first time. Seems to work well and didn't hammer my battery too much. Although I only did a short ride.
How do I link it to my Facebook so it posts my results up on there? Can you do that?

On the pro version, when you finish a ride (by pressing "stop") it flashes up a large button to share to facebook, I would have assumed it was the same on the free version?

I don't have the pro version. What phone do you have?
I had a look in the help section ob the website and I don't think that the share function is available on iPhone. Only android phones. Which I find a bit stupid.

Ah, Ok, sorry. Yes, mine is an Android phone, the share to FB is a feature of a recent update so I'll be amazed if it isn't available for iPhone very soon.

Another app I found that helps with battery life is Advanced Task Killer, it kills other apps that you aren't using at the time, but they resume when you restsrt them
eg: If you have google mail on your phone, this would always be searching for emails, kill it, not searching anymore.

OK, the tweaks I did on my Android phone worked better than expected.I had 23% left after more than 8 hours usage.So 10 hours duration is looking to be the norm.Considering most hardware is similar, I imagine most phones can be made to achieve close to this.If anyone is interested in how to get 10 hours I'll post the methodology.
You can manually share it from the website after it has uploaded, or you can set your account up to automatically share to Facebook.

Any idea how you do it benb? Last night was the first time I used it and couldn't figure it out.
Was surprised there's not an auto share option for iPhone like there is on android.

Endomondo announced on Facebook yesterday that their updated app is now available for iPhone, including the FB sharing feature so may be worth a look

Log in to your account on the website. Click settings on the top right. Click Sharing, then tick the box "Auto-Post New Workouts to Facebook"
