I can understand commercial waste being kept at bay, but who in earth wouldn't drive to their nearest tip?

Definitely a council decision, don't think there is a contractor at this site I'm talking about.

Commercial dumpers try and disguise their activities by visiting multiple sites to avoid charges. It can add up to a few quid for some unscrupulous operators.

Our ones are all council and stoped walking in a few years ago. One guy I know lived next door to one and no car he used to walk in now he needs someone to drive him in
