Hmmmm... I love eggs and I've had them fried, boiled, poached, scrambled but never steamed.

Have you tried Balut ?

Old school egg poacher with water, with a bit of butter smeared in the plastic cups before you put the egg in, bung it on the hob, 6 mins on the boil.
Jobs a good un.
You dont need fancy gadgets for something as simple as poached eggs.

Likewise. Ours came from Australia or somewhere. The blurb was highly convincing. Useless at poaching eggs but it did prove to be a half-way decent explosive device.

I got two last Xmas, they are garbage, my poached eggs came out triangular and they don't look nor taste "right". They are a faff to clean too, totally pointless. I gave one to my son when he went to Uni.........
