Quite a surprise, considering it was a serious collision. I thought this would be a Porsche/Ferrari, or something that was going too fast to stop
Tongue in cheek post, you must have missed the other threadWhy?....any car is a dangerous implement.
True, but this is temporary during roadworks. I imagine the paperwork involved would mean the crossing is gone before they got permission for the camera.Seems simple to me. Park a CCTV camera there and send a £130 fine to everyone who goes through. No appeals. Drivers used to drive in bus lanes when they were first installed in London. Then the fines started dropping on the doormats and lo & behold, they stopped.
I have respect for ordinary PCs. Young men and women not paid a great deal and must have the patience of a saint. Yet able to carry out society's dirty work. In general, top people."I sincerely hope she's ok and fair play to the copper who went over to the car with the boom boom music on at full belt while his passenger was attempting to take pictures of her lying in the road, I thought he was going to punch him one. A pity he didn't!"
It's things like that that makes you wonder what is happening to make people behave in that manner. The Policeman should be congratulated on his actions.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Could you not have enticed him into your microwave like the last living creature that annoyed you?I wished death on the scum who went through that red light!
I know it is an old thread but the police are getting much stricter with idiots filming crash scenes.
The current mentality of having to film ever aspect of your life is really odd.

disagree to be honest - i think that's one of those anti-brit commonplaces. The standard of car driving is very low in this country,
A few years ago a cyclist was killed and was lying on the road, no one for a while even checked that he was dead they were all just filming and it was put on Facebook!. The family and friends had to go to Mark Zuckerberg to get it removed and banned. Its just unbelievable really. You would think someone would at least do basic checks and put their coat over him. Its just savage.I know it is an old thread but the police are getting much stricter with idiots filming crash scenes.
