I just taped my camera to my helmet 
Arch's point about big text is spot on. Huge: fill the frame if you're putting it on Youtube; this is not a widescreen movie with a hundred names on screen.
Ditto the bit about cutting out waiting-at-lights faff. It's easy enough in Movie Maker to edit out a chunk of wait time and use a fade between the two sections just like they do on proper telly.
So far I've left the sound on, decided it was crap, and muted it, replacing it with a random track from my MP3 collection.
