Mine arrived promptly, but unfortunately is unusable as the top plastic clamp is fractured adjacent to the wingnut. I've contacted the seller to request a replacement bit, I'll report back with the outcome.
Thanks for that - despite being so mechanically inept that the Cobra committee is automatically convened if I touch a screwdriver, I've ordered one so that I can attempt to clean my Brompton ...hi all, as promised on another thread here is my review of a bike stand i purchased on ebay.
are the tubes very small on a brompton? Thanks for that - despite being so mechanically inept that the Cobra committee is automatically convened if I touch a screwdriver, I've ordered one so that I can attempt to clean my Brompton ...
I don't know the numbers, but I don't think so. If anything, the main tube seems slightly thicker than for a road bike.are the tubes very small on a brompton?
One thing I'd mention though, clamp the bike via the seat tube rather than the frame.
A seat tube is easier to replace than a frame should it crack /bend

I'm a little confused, are we talking about the seat post here? Surely the seat tube is part of the frame?
