The sticker on that Falcon is apparently 501 according to the description, biggs. If I had any room, I'd be sorely tempted at 30 quid since it's barely 10mins drive away but probably for the best that I don't

Yes I saw that on the description but I think it will be 531 at that age but who knows.

531 Pg would be odd really why not have 500!
The benefit of 531 is that it allows butting and a springy light frame!

I had a cromo plain gauge frame with the classic springy characteristic associated with good steel framesets - in light of PG seemingly being inferior to butted tubing. I reckon a lot of quality PG frames would be the same. That's another thread & story.
As far I know & was taught, 531 was offered in plain gauge & the timeline of Reynolds decals would support that idea.

As a final p.s. about the Corsair & PG: next time, I'll be more careful reading the decals - my bad.
