Nup - the quantity I have is already verging on "problematic"... I have told myself that I'd take a mint Randonneur or Classic at the right price; but thankfully either are a suitably unlikely proposition that they've not yet presented a problem...


If that was one size up, I would've had a punt. I had one in green back in the day.
Indeed; I'm still a bit on the fence re. sizing but my Routier is a 23.5" frame and doesn't feel obviously too large. Would be interested to see how a 22.5" variant felt in comparison however..

The green ones look very nice and I think I prefer the aesthetic of the muted colour and chrome socks.. however I think they're really quite a different bike with many older standards - wheels are 27" for example and I think the brake format is different..

@biggs682 - looks interesting. Too big for me but it's near-ish so I could collect (I go near there on Sunday) if someone's interested.

My only worry with the frame would be the head tube / downtube joint:
