Lincoln looks like a gitane under the white paint but also much like a Raleigh too.

Good morning,
Never seen a 753 respray decal, are they usually renovated?
Those stickers seem to be available at https://velotex.com/products/reynolds-531-frame-fork-vinyl-decals

But they seem to be an own design, https://www.reynoldstechnology.biz/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/decal_history.pdf has no mention of Respray only as you suggest Renovated.

If Graham Weigh did the respray then I would be happy that the frame was 753 even with these decals

Good evening

Interesting as all the metal bits are there to go back to 2xgearing and someone has done a beautiful job on the rear dropouts but does anyone recognise the 753 Respray decal?

Same as 'midlife' I've never seen a 753 respray decal, however my 1984 Raleigh Rapide frame has a 531 Respray decal - it got repaired at Bob Jackson's Leeds (in 1984 ! ) after it came off the worse in a low speed tussle with a Land Rover.

So it would seem to logically follow that 753 Respray decals would also exist.

Just went outside in the dark and rain and grabbed this quick pic, so it's not the best quality.

Thanks for that. :-)

Lloyds "The Official Source of reproduction logos" has a French version of 753 Respray so they probably existed in English between 1981/82 - 1989, the period with flat not sloping 753 and before the simplified designs.

But I still can't find any with the wing and word respray in white.
