Well its coming together slowly a good session this morning has got it this far .

Still got some work to do , ie guards fr & rr , brake cables , rear brake pads , pedals then road test aiming for end of this week just depends on what spare time i can find .

i have a used set in watching but at £25 plus carriage , i think i will stick to either the black or silver sets i have already

Period guards by Bluemels, Bantel, Britannia etc are expensive these days, esp for mint or NOS items. I shop around and scour Ebay etc. Some sellers are asking silly money, bargains can still be had though.

That said modern SKS equivalents are available.

Another few test miles this afternoon after some adjustments yesterday .

Guards fitted this morning then treated to a gentle 15 miles road test

Very pleased with the result and looking forward to seeing the miles roll by .
