Dull Rattling

Most annoying noise I had trouble locating was a creaking sound that appeared to come from the bottom bracket, or the front wheel, or the headstock, or the mudguards, or the rack, or the saddle..........
.............eventually located as the strap rubbing on the polystyrene shell of my helmet!

I had a bad rattling in my first few miles last night. After about 15 miles it had gotten much worse, bad surfaces really increased the rattle. I looked down and seen my bottle cage was nearly off, whoops! Quick tighten and happy days.

Chain bouncing on the frame, are there any marks on the chainstay protector.

I'll have a look when I get home, although I think there is a protector strip thingy!

The protector strip is there to prevent the chain from chipping the paint when the chain does 'bounce' onto it.
