A new women's team, Dream Team Pro Cycling Honda, announced today.
Looks like a one day team based around ex world champion Bronzini.
Packed with GB talent : Rowsell, Trott, King, Barker, Roberts and some wiser antipodean heads.

Honda are interesting sponsors, along with the Wiggo Foundation and Pinarello bikes.

Good news and arise, arise Sir Wiggo !

And in a similar vein, Emma Pooley has a Swiss team, Bigla for next year. Looks like it will give her the chance to take a more relaxed approach for a bit.

Good news. The BBC is reporting that Rachel Gilmore will be the team leader, but I suspect they know less than the cycling press.

Edit: although actually, Cyclingnews is also reporting that Gilmore and Bronzini will be joint leaders. Personally, I am pleased to see that Japanese champ, Mayuko Hagiwara, is also part of this.

It seems that Gilmore is kind of the manager and driving force as well as being a rider.
What's good is there's a new sponsor who should be able to solve the typical transport problems that womens teams have...

Team pursuiters almost naturally move to the road, where their speed, strength,and endurance are valued. Remember that most of the English speaking successful road riders have come with a track programme background. Not so sure about Bronzini though, maybe a sponsor connection?
