A few small beers on Friday evening (one of which was posted up as part of my ride home).

A couple of glasses of Muscadet last night, and a couple of small beers to round off as I first watched the mighty Toffees *ahem* destroy Chelsea, followed by DerLibpewlFubbubbub getting dicked at Old Trafford.

Nothing through the week. I hardly eat, either.

the crap i have bought from amazon/ebay etc when drunk scares me .

Once, whilst Mrs B was on holiday with our youngest, fuelled by a bottle of Merlot, I bought a car on ebay. It seemed an excellent idea at the time.
On her return a conversation starting, "What have you been dong while we have been away?" then went rapidly downhill.

I now stay clear of any sites where I could buy something if I have imbided.

I mean, if you've bought a concours Jensen Interceptor for about eight large, then hats off. However, if you've bought a lime green Vauxhall Nova Swing with full body kit, lowered suspension and hugs bass bins for about the same...?

A great thread for those self-righteous teetotallers out there

Saturday night was spent stone cold sober as had to pick up son#2 and his mates from a house party. Then listen to half an hour of their slightly intoxicated jibber jabber on the way home.
Managed to get quite drunk last Wednesday. Invited to a free bar dinner at the Dorchester so it would have been rude not to enjoy the champagne, red wine, white wine, g&t, brandy (although maybe not in that order, although then again that might be the right order)

Back in London Wednesday for a business celebratory shindig. Might get a bit nasty

Neither. A 40 year old Triumph in need of TLC. Much more TLC than my Merlot hazed eyes picked up.
I am hoping the car will redeem itself (and me ) if I can get it ready for my eldest daughter's marriage next year.

My favourite is having a few drinks of gin and wine and playing Championship Manager 97/98 at the same time.Unfortunately I turn into Jose Mourning though.Always start after 9pm never earlier,like tonight.
