hello guys I had bought the lezyne powerdrive xl front light last week and thought it was a great light but the battery was only lasting 1hr 30 mins on full which was 400lm. I want a light to last longer than that with similar if not more power. im now looking at the lezyne deca drive as on 400lm it lasts 3hours and if I buy the loaded version I get a spare battery so will have 6hrs on 400lm. its expensive though at £140. people keep saying about the cree t6 but not sure about having the battery pack on the bike aswel with cables. what lights do u guys suggest with no less than 400lm (the brighter the better) with good battery life.
Could u guys show me pics of ur lights on ur bikes and a pic of the cree and battery pack on your bikes?
Many thanks

The battery is just below the saddle and the cable runs along the top tube. On 60% output it lasts around 6 hours and brighter than anything I have owned. Flashing is fit inducing so I don't use it. Not bad for £18

I would post but my setup is remarkably similar. Only difference is I have a Y splitter and a rear light sharing the battery. Battery is on seatpost as there isn't enough cable or clearance anywhere else.

Smaller spare battery tucked in behind the stem

Is this the one what? There are varying outputs and varying levels of kit available and different places/prices to buy them at.

I've got one of the ebay Cree T6 lights.
After much faffing around (including breaking the battery-frame-fitting strap), I've found the battery + my phone fit perfectly inside one of those tri-bags. The ones that sit on the top tube, just behind the steerer/stem.

Mines battery is slung under the stem in the original nylon pouch with a tie-wrap for good measure!
Snug, tidy and out the way.
