I think some people are forgetting, Mathew is still a young man, 17? and still learning. Some of the comments on here are unecessary.

It could be argued that if you're old enough to ride down the street shouting and swearing at all and sundry, then you're old enough to take a bit of stick on here. Quite a few people riding white horses on here.

If Matthew felt the need to send an email then that is his choice. It was a polite email including his concerns and I see nothing against it. Better to check things than let everything go all the time. It's done now anyway, so there's nothing that can be done, for those who are saying it was wrong/daft/whatever etc. You's have made your points which are your opinions and Matthew has stated 'he's got the point'. Nothing wrong with a email concerning driving in my opinion, maks people more aware.

This thread is getting a bit out of control.

I have acknowledged everyones concerns and apologise for annoying so many people who think that I am just wasting time and causing problems for myself.

Its now getting a bit boring just reading abuse on here. I am sure that is not what the creators of this forum were aiming for.

Yes, I read the whole thread before replying; what is your point?

There's no time-bar on comments; whether you agree with what I wrote or not, I had every right to post it.

So you thought you d just stick another knife in. He s come onto a forum with his head full of you tube clips, who do you think hes trying to emulate. Aim you re comments at the cause not the result!

I didn't "stick the knife in": I wasn't rude, insulting, dismissive or anything else that might be considered pejorative.

Trying to keep someone out of bother is generally considered "a favour".

I've no idea whether he's inspired by Youtube nor who he's trying to emulate and neither do you. Even if it were the case, where does aiming my comments at "the cause", rather than "the result", get anyone?

Most likely a young man lying in the road with a split lip: result!

Being as you have singled me out for your attention (rather than the three others who also commented after he had "got the point") it strikes me that you only glanced at my post and misconstrued it as an attack on the OP.
