Funny, I was thinking about Steve earlier wondering how he was getting on in this weather. I see he's crossed Norfolk today- probably a good decision as v little snow there today. Now he's into Lincs though he'll get a lot more I guess.

It's still snowing here, then forecast to freeze hard. My brother's car is booked in for some work tomorrow - could be an effort to get it to the garage (if they open).

I thought you would have dipped your winkle in it to confirm the depth?

And winter tyres are very good, I've been using them since 2010 after getting caught out badly with the kids (were quite young then) in the car. The problem is all of the others who don't have them. If you are stuck in traffic because the 'others' cannot move, it doesn't matter how good your tyres are.
