Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
1 deg here. We have a smattering but it's not sticking. It looks like we may survive after all.

Friends in Hampshire have built a 6' snowman. They must have scraped about half an acre of countryside to find enough snow

It's now snowing here, but so far it's only about 2 millimeters. Though as I post it's 0 degrees Celsius and rain is forecast for later in the day when it'll be a mere 1 degree Celsius, meaning it will be very slippy underfoot! I doubt it'll be safe for me to venture out later today, or on Monday.

something wrong with people that choose these monstrosities as their personal transport - is their a bigger statement that says " F OFF - I don't Care"

And I'm sure I see more giant 4x4s crashed on winters days than any other type of vehicle, what is the point of them?
Most owners probably have too much faith in them, thinking they are 'bomb proof' if you have a crash, and they grip the road like glue. They don't seem to remember that 4x4's are good off road, but not good on ice covered roads, like all vehicles are. Snow yes. Ice no!

I survived. I survived snowmageddon. Sleety rain last night it stuck a bit but it started to rain at around 6 am. 1 deg now and more rain is forecast, so it won't take long for the bit of snow to disappear.
