A swift 13 miles. Just out to feel good in myself. plenty birdsong. smelt a fire somewhere on the path. said hello to a few walkers. only saw two other cyclists.

Like that,like it a lot,many happy days in that part of the world,though mind you.I d like to be able to ride along and marvel at the big shops moored on the Tyne.Thats a memory now,bit that looks a find ride.

I imagine you can all work put that "shops" ought to be shops.L ong gone are SS Woolworth,RFA Austin Reed and HMS Littlewood.

The first time I used that path was coming home from the pub (Tyne Bar, Cluny, Cumberland... Can't really remember where we ended the night).

There are some tricky junctions and obstacles if you don't have your wits about you!
