I started cycling proper last July. The journey to work was 7 miles each way and at the start that was long enough! By Christmas I was extending it and doing long rides to take me to 200mile a week. Now I do anywhere from 250- 400 miles a week, 7000 already this year so far, and am in the process of training for time trials, can cycle 100miles pretty comfortably at good speeds , and am taking on every tough climb in Britain one by one.
