Unless they're in the house they get left alone... stray onto my territory though, ya little buggers, and it's a different story...
I try to get rid of any other animals from the house without killing them (spiders / wasps / bees etc.) but ants are (if they're in your house) usually too quick and too many to try and 'rescue' them.
