Who in their right mind spends £350 on bike lights?

Apologies to anyone who actually did

My main light cost £225, my head light cost £150, the back up light were £40 each...

I prefer riding solo at night to doing it in daylight, so I do it loads, both off road and out of town on tarmac. I'd replace them immediately if anything happened to them. Try it, Vickster, you don't know what you are missing. ;)

I don't much like riding at night, car lights dazzle me and I'd be way to scared to go out in the sticks in the dark

Lost it, got it again.
Looks like someone has gone out to the local Halfords and spunked a load of cash on what has been recomended by the "bike guy" there, and then realised 2 months later that he doesnt like cycling as much as he thought he would. Sold the bike, now getting rid of the other bits n bobs. Look at the bike, sold on Aug 10th and the bar grips were dirty like they had been used a few times.

I call "legit"

looks fine. only thing I would say is that the bike ad said lights were £200, and the latest ad said 350. May not be the same ones.

All in all, looks fine. But expensive lights. I have Magicshine 808 and they are wonderful at less cash

Some thing similar happened to me last week, I bided on a White I phone 4. Anyway got it for £400 and messaged the seller asking her where I could pick the phone up from.. She replyed Stoke station or Birmingham station..!!! So she expected me to part with 400 quid in the street just after all the looting.. NO THANK YOU LUV..

I hope you reported her to eBay and the police ;)

£350 for lights?! That's a serous investment to sell them after a couple of months. My Spidey sense would be kicking off too.

Also it's difficult to take someone seriously when they don't know the difference between bought and brought.

Unless he commutes in the dark (middle of the night) along unlit country lanes he would have no need for such a lighting system as the last few months have apparently been summer! He seems like a genuine ebayer, whether he is a looter- the jury is out.

Still part of the team !
yep, just added mine up, including dynamo wheel as well, and we get the £700 range  nice lights though

Yes, it soon adds up......................
For me, two SON dyno hubs, a Supernova E3, a Philips Safe Ride, two B&M IQ Speeds (and two batteries) plus a Smart Lunar.
Not all at the same time ;)
In my defense, they all get used regularly and, on fast night rides, I don't often want more illumination.
