DIY Mono Wheel Trailer

Hi to you too.

The novelty was alluring.
A single wheel trailer in theory offers less rolling resistance and less wind resistance.
It will follow through a gate easier and take up less space.
In the end, my version is adequate for my use. I'm also fortunate to have a friend who is a talented fabricator and is kind enough to offer his opinions, advice and importantly can weld/braze FOC.
What are friends for?
Without that resource then I would happily fall back on the methods you use (and often do).

Job's a good'n!
Due to health issues I haven't done much cycling since the trailer was completed.
In the meantime I've acquired a couple of Raleighs; a 1991 'Chiltern' ready to go and a 1965 'Riviera', needing a strip and lube job.
Looking forward to warmer weather and progress.

Well, good to hear that it's done and you're satisfied with the result - but sorry to hear about health issues affecting use etc (I'm five yrs older, so well aware of this aspect of life)
Don't think you're alone re thoughts about warmer weather

September was rushed delirious into A&E with kidney sepsis, instant surgery saved my life.
Week before Christmas had both kidneys 'hoovered' out, removal of multiple stones.
Watched both events, live on screen.
Good old NHS.
