You can call in Baby Bundles (Norfolk) Ltd, for official purposes and the just refer to the company as Baby Bundles.
This crossed our mind but we would like to move to Devon later this year - housing exchange thing so it might take a while - we didn't really want to specify a company area. I might change my name to Bonny at this rate  I reckon that something will ping into my scribbly head in a while.

Make sure you can get the .com domain as well as .co.uk as most people will add .com without even thinking about it.

I will be making and selling hampers for new born babies, presents for baby showers, nappy cakes and that kind of stuf. People keep having babies, baby showers are a growing thing as are giving nappy cakes so I thought that I would give it a go while its still a growing thing.

I'm obviously very out of touch. My thoughts turn to "used" nappies :eek:xx(

When I was going through possible names with my accountant he advised me not to use one from a previous company as you never know what will come out of the woodwork.

So - what is a nappy cake?

Here you go. Its a pile of nappies (new ones) made to look like a cake. This one is a prototype that we made last night.

The company name is irrelevant. It can be whatever you want. What matters are the trading name and the domain name.
Yes and no: if it comes to a dispute over a trading or domain name, the company name is given a great deal of weight. It's best to stick to all being the same unless there's a good reason to do otherwise (eg. multiple brands owned by the same company).

As there is in this case, which was the OP's concern - dissolved company with the preferred name, but containing a generic phrase.
"Baby bundle" "nappy cake" etc aren't protectable as trademarks because a) they are generic terms and b) there are dozens of businesses already trading with those words.
