I think you'll struggle to get near your budget if wanting discs and 105 if wanting to buy from an LBS selling mainstream brands. Have you considered second hand, although your location may complicate that too

Have found the Fuji sport if 1.3 2916 at Evans, (would do a link, but iPad seems to be in strike) £760 which I can just about stretch to. Obviously they have none in stock at my local, but might be able to get a feel for what Fuji are like, at my Saturday visit
