Hi all

Not used discs before and have a set of avid juicy 3's on my trek. Every now and then I get a rattling noise coming from one of the discs, i think it's the front. It sounds like the rotor/disc is loose, however all is tight as a nut. Bike is month old so is it just bedding in or do I need to centre the calipers on the discs ?

Or is it something else ?

Cheers

Could be the pads rattling within the caliper. Does the noise go away when you brake gently?

I have juicy 3s on my MTB they rattle squeak and are occasionally noisy. a light touch on the brake lever and it sorts it.

thanks for response , it does sort itself out when I brake and can come and go as it pleases. If i get the rattle and steer quickly left to right is gets worse as if something loose, then silence ....

Can't fathom out what it is ....

Cheers
