I've had one for a while, mine is a 10L. Good for cleaning carburettors. You can achieve a similar effect by attaching an orbital sander to a pot with a screw lid, but obviously not as good.

My Dad has one for his false teeth.

Saves him a small fortune on denture tablets.

I bought one last year on Amazon. I remember it being about £40. Brilliant piece of kit. It has a heater and an ultrasonic function. I can fit two chains or a MTB cassette into the basket.
Get the worse of the chain with a couple of wipes with a rag.
I use a strong detergent from Screw Fix.
Far better chain life using this method because it gets to the bushes, this is wear takes place.

I've got one, find I often need to run chains through several times even after wiping the excess off. Not because it's crap but because more dirt keeps coming off.

Also useful for bearings. Run them through the cleaner then regrease.

Here's one I prepared earlier... I soaked Deurellier overnight in Orange formula degreaser & then bobbed it the US cleaner a couple times, 2 x 30mins in a fairy liquid/water mix... decent result I thought!

Thread res…

I am seriously considering one of these bad boys. Any more updates or anecdotes? Thinking 6 - 10 L size range should be good for most stuff. Budget, say under 100 quid, ideally. I have seen a few on Amazon, all very similar but subtly different, are there any particular brands that stand out?
