I went running and riding the bike like a maniac whilst on treatment. Against medical advice of course.

I have wondered about that ever since reading Lance Armstrong's book about his coming through against all the odds. He struggled out on his bike with supportive mates during his chemo. I do wonder whether the extra oxidative stress (we know tumours have high oxygen demands and grow extra blood vessels to supply them) at a time when they are under chemo attack makes a difference.

Hi YG have a bit of a cold thing going on at the minute so for obvious reasons can't visit but when it is completely gone i'll call up there. If you get contacted by work let me know. Yes YG had more hair in his beard than I have on my head.

Been home since Thursday, assembling Ikea furniture. Have to go back in today as an outpatient for another bone marrow biopsy and will likely be readmitted as an inpatient next Monday for stage two of the treatment.

Posted a while back asking for advice about bilateral knee pain. Was given a diagnosis on Tuesday and I have now been admitted to hospital for chemotherapy for ALL.

If anyone has been through this it would be great to get some advice and stuff.

Thanks in advance.

Symptoms of a knee pain include knee swelling, knee tenderness, and bruising of the knee. More serious symptoms include fever, severe knee pain, and redness of the skin overlying the knee joint.
