Reading about this on an Aussie site ...apparently you alter THE HANGER to fit round the b screw holder (notch it out ...see picture below you can just see if you zoom in it's been clearanced 6 o'clock to 9 o'clock) rather than file the boss on the deralieur, to clear ... This then gives you the stop adjust position for the deralieur. The thread on the cyclo hanger hole would then have to be tapped to suit the new deraileur bolt thread or made into a plain hole & fit a nut tightly on the other side ... What a palaver!!...
Looking at the rear mech can you not remove the B screw and carefully grind/file part of the boss away (the bit that is angled) in order to get clearance on the existing hanger?
I can only apologise for the length & the downright tediousness of this thread ...lol!!! But I think I have found my answer ...just a case of putting it into practice now, roll on the weekend!
