I machine it alot and never struggled to deburr it, I use a surgeons scalpel. We recommend it to a lot of customers instead of Nylon because of its machinability.

I have just seen the price of these in the first post! I think I can see a new side line coming in at work if people are willing to pay that for them!

Yep we used a scaple as well but it was a small bevel gear (19 /20 dia from memory) and any indents and scapel marks the edge of the teeth was a instant fail from qc.

I run swiss cnc and can / could do alot of bike stuff (we do titanium stuff as well) but work is not interested.

Gonna ask, how do you get on with the KCNC stuff, i.e. no float - I suspect fine as running DI2

Got Tacx jockeys on the MTB that are sealed cartridge, but they work fine in tough conditions.

I am still running my original DA 7400 jockeys on the best bike. Ceramic bushings, alloy top jockey teeth - fabulous bits of kit, yup not super light, but 22 years of use with no wear....
