Defy mudguards

Nice and even around the back wheel - good job!
Black merges with the tyre so hardly visible

With the Defy guards, you must take the brake calipers off to fit the caliper bolt through the guard hanger, whereas the Cruds use a cable tie-like arrangement to hang from iirc. It does make it easier to remove the wheels while fitting the Defy guards too.

I've decided to give Crud 2 a go with a set I got from the CRC shop in town. After checking out the parts and watching the tutorial video, if nobody minds, I've a few questions.

Looks like there are 2 sets of front mudguard tail and nose pieces. Is that just a spare set? Use which ever you like and keep the other?

The chainset protector definitely looks to be too long for my Defy 2.5. If you had to cut yours did you find it easier to trim at the chainset end or at the back brake end?

Aha!!!! ---- I see what's going on here. One is a front set and the other is an alternative short set for the back.
