I'm fixing up the old Peugeot Carbolite 103. It takes 700 size wheels.
What are the best tyres for puncture protection with a good tread?

Hi

Seems there is some good discussion on 2 very popular road tyres here. Might be a useful place to start.

I fitted a pair of Conti GP 4 seasons and have found that they are cut resistant and reasonably fast rolling so far.

Generally road tyres are slicks, you don't really need tread on a road cycle tyre...
