DCLane

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
We went in to get the youngest (aka Stumpy) a B'Twin Triban Junior. Turns out he's too short for that for a couple of months. The staff there were helpful too ...

So I got myself a decent jacket in the sale (£55 down to £17), SWMBO got a few things, and both kids did. 10 items (clothes, gloves, snorkel) was £68.

Having looked at the bike, we'll be back for it in March/April when he's been fed and grown a bit! xx(

The problem is I cannot visit a Decathlon store without buying something.

Therefore, as a consquence, I have far too much cycling clothing filling up my drawers!!

Come to think of it, I might nip there again this afternoon !!!!!

the Vitamin singlespeed was my bike of 2011 - well put together with decent tyres and wheels for seventy quid. And the croissant and coffee deal is excellent.

Managed to break my hand pump last night.. Think a trip at the end of the week is in order! Wonder how much I could smuggle in the house without SWMBO noticing...

This was what I thought was meant by the Vitamin?

I thought it was a one-off. They still had a few in the local Decathlon stores before Christmas. 99 euros, so a bit cheaper in the UK.

There was a sort of transitional stage in my local Decathlon. The Vitamin turned black, the £99 MTB appeared and very shortly after that the Vitamin disappeared. I didn't actually put the Vitamin and MTB alongside each other but the frames looked identical.

The older I get, the faster I used to be ...
Its not fair - why aren't there any Decathlons further west than Reading, or further south than Birmingham? I keep asking them if/when they might open one serving the South West (and Wales), (no reply) but they just keep opening more and more stores in the north ........

People South of Birmingham have more money so can shop at expensive bike shops

If Decathlon did churches, I would attend.

If Decathlon did schools, my daughter would be attending when old enough.

If Decathlon did world diplomacy, there would be an end to hunger and peace would spread throughout the world.

I like Decathlon
