This size has been out of stock for a long time, i was told my local store (Surrey Quays) that it would be in by the end of March then next time i spoke to them they said they wern't sure when it was coming in. I am on a list of people that they said they'd call once it comes into stock but just wondering does anybody have any idea when they'll be getting them into stock? Thinking of buying the 3a but i know it's not as good as the t3!

If you are sure that the 60cm is the size for you why don't you order it on line from Southampton? Alternatively they may be prepared to courier one to the Surrey Quays shop if you pay carriage, worth a try. Or you could upgrade to the 5!

Thanks for the replies, Southampton looks like the only store to have 60cm, i've just messaged them asking if it's possible to send it to me, didn't know decathlon allowed you to order from other stores?

Decathlon do allow you to order from other stores but if you don't want to drive there and pick it up you have to pay for a courier. When I was looking to buy my T3 there was none in stock in my area but there was a T5 in Glasgow they offered to courier down for £40. Fortunately they got a new stock of T3s in the next day and I bought mine, coincidentally also a 60cm.

I love my T3 so don't get me wrong but if you can afford it get a 5A. I would have if it had been out at the time and I knew what I know now. It's a great bike but it would benefit from not having the cruddy 2300 groupset.

It was my local store. I'm not sure whether they would have sent it to me, perhaps they would have, but at the time the Olympics was on and a lot of people were buying bikes and T3s were like hot cakes, so I rushed to Birmingham and got it.

Ok thanks, ill give southampton another day or so to reply to my message then ill ring them and see whats going on. Only 80 miles or so away so courier shouldn't be that much and hopefully can deliver to my address. Need a t3 soon before i get impatient and buy the t3a!

Why not phone them asap, rather than awaiting an email reply?

Just been on the phone to Southampton, they said the cost of a courier would be extremely high, around £100 they said to send it 85 miles to my address/Surrey Quays store, even though i've sent several bikes through couriers longer distances for under £30...?

That's ridiulous, no courier would charge more than £30 for that. What would the delivery charge be if you ordered on line? Surely can't be that high. Makes you want to go to Halfords! Speak to someone else higher up in the organisation, like the national sales manager and appeal to him.

Their delivery is £15 from their warehouse which deals with all their online orders but they don't have my size in stock. £100 seems pretty ridiculous to me, unless they have to send it a particular way with a particular (very expensive) company?
