takes the usual threaded 16g CO2 caps

and also
threadless 12g CO2 caps - as used CO2 air pistols - much cheaper than 16g
... yet to see if 12g will fully inflate a road tyre though
I use a Topeak mini morph 140 PSI no problem and it has a bottle cage offset mount as well.

Most of the 'name' mini pumps will give you 100psi plus at the roadside with little effort. you can carry them attached to the bike, in a pocket, in a bum bag, or strapped to almost anything. I too used to have my faithful Carradice, but as I only do 'day' rides now, I only carry the essentials.

16g inflates 700c to about 130psi 12g to about 100psi

The cartridges can be obtained dirt cheap if you shop around. I think I paid 75p each for my last lot.

Having tried several brands, I now use the Lifeline CO2 pump (which I think might be Wiggle's own 'value' range). Works the best of all of them. 16g cartridges bought cheaply in bulk off eBay. But in true belt and braces style, I also carry a small Lezyne pump in the holder next to the bottle. I can only remember using it once though as gas does the job perfectly.
