I have been cycling for many years, so it might seem strange to ask about dealing with a puncture, but these
days bikes don't come with a pump or clips on the frame to hold one. Cyclists only seem to have a small
"stash bag" which is just about big enough for a tube, levers and a spanner but no pump,so what do people do?
Are those little short pumps any good? Where would you carry one anyway?
In my cycling club days I always had a large saddlebag, and carried everything bar the kitchen sink.
I can't understand why saddle bags disappeared, I don't like having a rucksack on my back like lots
of riders do, I was always taught to keep the center of gravity low.
