Dawes Removed from Sale
I've decided to remove my non-Galaxy non-531 Dawes from sale; I'd rather do this than have someone disappointed who may have travelled a long way to see it. I shall use it as a winter bike for me and my son on his tag-a-long; it will be quite practical with the stainless steel mudguards to keep the muck off us.
I genuinely believed that it would be a 531 frame since it says 'Handbuilt' in two places on the frame; I didn't realise that standard cromoly steel & 'handbuilt' would be used in the same context. I called it 'Galaxy' 'cos this is what I was told it was in the past.
Yes, you were correct, I've just measured the frame and it is 24 1/2 ins from the bottom bracket to top tube measurement (centre to centre).
Sorry if this has wasted anyone's time; I shall be more careful in the future.
