Not watched any of this race yet,Lutsenko won the TT ! WTF....

Astana knew to save some for the steeper second half. Still a bit of a surprise result though. The race seems so low key but it’s been pretty good so far.

A few hills today, but we'll have to wait until Friday for the start of the mountain stages.

Saw a youtube vid that said that only Astana got the pacing for the course right. Both Lutsenko and Izagirre were well down at the intermediate time checkpoint, having kept their powder dry for a big effort in the second half, whereas others underestimated how hard the second half would be.

Nah Astana are the new Empire....watch out !
