Get them chainrings off, get the drill out. Drill metal out of the brake levers, seat post, stem, brake stirups, handlebars and BB shell.
Back to magnesium down tube lever.
Off with the handlebar tape. Off with the saddle covering. Off with the Brake lever hoods. Off with the frame paint and badges. Off with the brake outer plastic covering.
Off with the front mech and change chainrings with a plastic spoon.

- and don't forget the valve dustcaps - get rid of'em!

They look shoot, take them off. If you have a spoke protector, take that off, cos they also look shoot.

On a commuter bike, tyres with reflective bands are much better.

I brazenly remove all bells and reflectors, except for the rear red reflector.

As for using drillium, I've not quite got there yet.

No, the only legal requirement is for a rear reflector...

Don't forget the pedal reflectors ;)

Bells are quite useful for waking pedestrians up.

Front and rear reflectors are useful if your lights fail.

The back reflectors on pedals help you being seen.

Still can't see any purpose or usefulness in the wheel ones though.

Take 'em off ... but only if you have real bicycle lights and appropriate reflective gear.

Spare lights is what you carry in the eventuality of main light failure.

Incedentally, I didn't get where the OP defined the gender of their "hot sex" interest.

And that thing with the white propellor ... might as well add reflectors and streamers on the bars:biggrin: It's devo.

In The UK maybe, but here it's for two on each wheel, facing left. Nobody takes a blind bit of notice of it though...

Sorry Uncle Mort, I wasn't paying attention:blush:

Fixed that for you;)

anyhow, who'd sacrifice hot sex with pretty girls for safety

You've convinved me - & I don't even need the girls to be pretty. So, if your daughters, wives or significant others are aged between 21 and 55, lock 'em up for the summer! My spoke reflectors are coming off and I'm going to be getting more totty than I ever have done before*. Thanks for your help in persuading me.

*Actually, that's a bit of a lie - I won't be. And Mrs Stig would kill me if I tried. But you know what I mean.
