That's a rather strange view, if you ask me. Wiggins has a record of being unreliable on road races, but on the boards, and in major TTs, hardly so. If anything, the solo event favours his particular personality.

Anyway, let's not let discussion of the men's event - which already has its own thread - take over this thread on the women's hour record.
