Damaged chainset?

I had problems with the chain coming off the old PDQ I picked up off eBay last week. First impression was that the chain was not routed through the idler pulley correctly (it wasn't) but once the chain was out of the way I noticed that I also had a somewhat asymmetric chainring! Has anyone any idea what this chainring might be made from - it is non metallic and appears to be a plastic composite of same type? I guess it was quite old - maybe the material didn't catch on due to lack of strength. It was very light.
Not really an issue as I was going to swap the chainset for shorter cranks anyway. View attachment 101360

Is it a Solida chainset ? I had one a few years ago with some broken tooth...

Whoever the manufacturer was, they were sensible enough to not put their name on the product! To be fair, it may have given many good years of service before it disintegrated. There was a date stamp on it but it was illegible.
