Cyclocross bike for touring?

Mine is quite small, I am 5'10 but went with the smaller one as I have a problem with my shoulder and don't like to be too stretched out, might be worth trying one.

I would love a surly long haul trucker but never found a small enough frame for a 5'3" woman

They do a frame size as tiny as 42cm in the 26' wheel version - shurly (sorry, couldn't resist it) that's small enough? In fact you'd probably want the 46 or 50cm.

I'm a big fan of these. I bought frame and forks only a couple of years ago and built one up myself.

Must say though my specialised tricross managed 3,000miles of rough asian roads loaded with 10kg (hot climate=light load) never even had a puncture. Love my tricross

I'm 5'2" and I've got a 42cm Surly Cross Check, which I'm very happy with. From looking at the geometry, I'd probably go for a 46cm in the LHT, though, which is the next size up.
