Why did the youtuber have to bring race into it, what has his race got to do with him being a prat. If he felt that strongly about his bike why did he take it on a train ?

Unless I missed it, I don't think he did. He described him as Muslim, which isn't a race.

I think the response by the passengers was perfect here, in 99% of situations in the UK I'd put my money on everyone looking at the floor and praying for their stop to come sooner.

Do you really think giving this guy a kicking would have been of any help? Or is it just resorting to this guys level.

I'd say this video is a shining example of the nature of the Danes, I wish we could all act a bit more like this.

it's the only reasonable explanation for such an unreasonable response to somebody being too close to your bike... unless of course he's just plain unreasonable.

I would like to thing you are right. The up-loader used a video of an idiot to somehow attempt to to re-enforce his religious stereotyping. It lost something because of that. I will say that I am impressed by the defence the older lady received. In the UK there would have almost certainly been stony silence.

+1 though you never know what sort of maniac you're going to be dealing with. I'm willing to bet most people would *want* to get involved but would be afraid to do so without the backing of the rest of the carriage. Which ironically means they're all waiting for someone else to take the lead before joining in lol

I didn't watch the video, but I have been on a bus where two women got into a catfight over 'disrespecting my shopping'.

I've also been on the bus when a woman got on (most of the Manchester bus users might recognise this) who certainly appears mad - she gets on and then starts talking to the bus (hard to tell but I think it's a huge conspiracy theory about her sons having been stolen by the Freemasons. I did really try to listen once, and have also tried to decipher her handouts). A bloke on the bus piped up telling her to shut up because he thought she was preaching about 'her religion'. The bus passengers (myself included) told him to shut up in reply.

Not wanting this to degenerate, but the use of "race" with "muslim" is in effect covert racism.
The user is revealing their own deep seated thinking and stereotyping by assuming a physical attribute to a religion. This type of thinking is probably more of a problem than the openly discriminatory comments of those that know they're commenting on a difference.
