Cyclist down Bexhill

I have heard on the news this morning that there was a collision between a cyclist and a lorry.
Unfortunately this ended in the same way that a lot of lorry vs cyclist collisions end.

What brought this home for me is that this is on part of my route into work.

And the lorry driver is still in custody. Very sad news for the cyclist and his family.

My condolences as well to all affected by this.

There must have been something in the air around Bexhill yesterday.

Got diverted due to the incident above on my way into work. Everyone at work popped their heads in to check it wasn't me that had been knocked off.

Then the works van driver told me that the same road was shut about a mile further on when he got back at 4pm. Started my drive home to find that the second incident had been cleared by that point (though the railings were all bent and taped up).

About half a mile from there the road was shut and diverted again, this time a two car collision with someone having to be cut from their car and I believe the air ambulance was there.

I mean, I know accidents/incidents happen all the time but seemed to be rather a lot within a short distance/span of time.
