Ah yes… but you are Andy in Germany… in Europe bicycles are taken seriously as transportation.

I am Fritz in Canada , where bikes are toys not to be used too seriously except by a few eccentrics who want to actually commute on the silly things… it means decent panniers, fenders, racks etcetera are like hens teeth or rocking horse manure to find unless you want to pay silly prices to order them from far away and exotic places…

… like Germany.

Or perhaps Brussels.
