Just a bump (thread - not bike)

I got personal accident + personal liability at a very reasonable price - with cycleplan. (Cheaper than PL only with British cycling)

Obviously everyones approach to insurance is different - from those that insure bike et all - away from home new for old etc.

Worth a look.

i recently got cycling insurance with Sports FS and i am glad i did. Got peace of mind when im on the road now and the specialists were really helpful. Worth it if you are in the market for cycling insurance.

Any feedback on Bikmo? I'm due to pick up my new cycle scheme bike in a few days. The scheme requires the bike is insured (presumably just theft and damage rather than 3rd party liability) and includes free 2 weeks with Bikmo. I've not checked out the coverage yet but thought I'd ask on the thread.

I will be insuring myself in 2023,I let it lapse due to being banned by the Consultant in charge of my troubles. So I might go back to Cycling UK or British Cycling.Anyone come up with anything better please.

But also check your home insurance as above

Not that recently, since you mentioned it previously in this thread, back in May ^_^.

That's pretty recent for this forum...most posters keep harking back to how things were in the 70s or earlier

I have Bikmo. They paid out without issue when I had a couple of bikes stolen, including accessories. I didn't have proof of purchase for one bike, but had time and date stamped photos to prove ownership, which they accepted. Lower deductible compared to home insurance. I pay about £300/ year for around £9k worth of bikes (10% of my most expensive bike). My insurance didn't go up after my claim either.

Another :okay: for Bikmo never had an issue, good service and good all round cover for both me and my bikes. Can't find the same level and quality for better price. They are a 1% for the planet and certified B company so ethical too.
