You're usually an adroit observer of things involving active travel policy @mjr . Do you have any guesses as to what measures they might announce on Monday?
Not really. The biggest parties were all a bit light on cycling in their manifestoes this time, with rail taking most of the transport attention.

It's not even clear where cycling measures will fit in these bills. Will we see the current hit and miss planning measures change? Will Active Travel England retain their planning policy powers or be seen as an obtacle to be removed? Will cycling measures be included with the rail or bus bills as part of expanding service reach and integrated multimodal transport? Will cycle network management powers be included in devolution bills? Just powers or legal duties, for any of these?

Maybe Cycling UK or Active Travel England know what's coming, but I definitely don't.
