Cycling, hobby, transport or dangerous thing

Be quite cool to commute on a horse though. Parking would be problem.

Apparently TFL have a number of Horse Super-Bridleways planned.

I see cycling as both. It's a way of getting around that I happen to enjoy a lot too. Yes, there are dangers, but I can't think of anything that's without some sort of risk involved, however small.

Maybe you/they should have been wearing some sort of helmet!

i had to wear wear one of those funny face things once, you know the ones? to cover my funny face!
i wore a scull cap from time to time but hated it, my head was hard or so i thought at the time, youthful ignorance and a feeling of invincibility. now i never play rugby without a cycle helmet on!!!!!!!!!

difference is rugby is a contact sport, you go into it knowing

Bit of everything really.

I started purely with an intention of losing a bit of weight and nothing else.

Somehow, I seem to have ended up owning about ten bikes, not sure how that happened

Cycling is all 3 for me.

Also cycling is the only reason I've visited A+E in the last few years

Stangely I've never needed to go as a result of walking or being in a car, so it definitely more dangerous than either of those activities

Well, I suppose you could say jogging, walking & swimming are modes of transport.

Some people don't get it with cycling & look at you as though you are mental when you explain I went from A to B for the sake of it and furthermore went the long way.
